Dick Beijen established Global State in 1994 under the name Stone Hedge. Since forming the company, Dick has been actively involved in the syndication and investment management of over 75 real estate acquisitions and developments. Between 1981 and 1994 Dick was employed by the ING Group; 10 years as an investment banker and 4 years as manager for open-end funds with a total value of over $1.5 billion.
